Running Tights Or Running Pants Are for Active Men

Running tights are one more option for men who like variety in their wardrobes. These form fitting pants are favorites of men who participate in several types of sports. They are practical and comfortable.
These types of pants fit a mans body snuggly. The entire garment fits snuggly and lies on top of the skin. The waistband lays flat and there is generally no defined waistband. The longer varieties reach the anklebone area. They many times lay flat against the skin so they are not likely to catch on anything like a bicycle chain and tear.
The materials these are made from hold color well as they are combinations of different fabrics. Many are nylon/spandex blend fabrics that give the snug fit but allow for movement and stretch to fit the curves of a mans body. Some are polyester and spandex or cotton and spandex depending on the manufacturer. Many manufacturers use proprietary names for their fabrics and extol the virtues of wicking away moisture or heat from wearers bodies. Others use materials that are designed to minimize odor. This can be helpful in cases where these are worn under other clothing on occasions such as hunting trips where clothing is not changed on a daily basis.
While the word tights conjures up the vision of a longish item of clothing, this does not necessarily describe all of these items. They vary in length. Some are long and reach to the ankle or thereabouts. These may or may not be form fitting near the bottom hem. Some are more like longer shorts and terminate a few inches above the knee. Others have a Capri style that covers the knee with the bottom hem being a couple of inches below the knee. These types tend to be snug fitting at the knees.
There are detailing options offered by various manufacturers. Some of these are plain and come in one solid fabric. Others have inset material that is in a contrasting color and used to create a variety of stripes, dashes or logos. Some of these stripes are created in such a way as to suggest motion and may be a representation of the designers logo. Other styling details can include ankle zippers to assist in putting them on or small key pockets that are place in the middle of the back waistline area.
Men like these for a variety of uses. Men who run, particularly those in cool or snowy winter climates, wear them to protect against the elements. They can be used for almost any type of workout including ones like yoga where moving comfortably is important. Bike riders like the snug fit so there is nothing to catch on bike parts and the fact that many of these wick moisture away from the body. Running tights offer a variety of styles for men who are active.
